Welcome, soccer enthusiasts and proud parents! We are thrilled to introduce you to our Traveling Competitive Program. Our program is built on a foundation of passion for the sport and a commitment to nurturing the full potential of each player. We believe in creating an environment where young athletes not only refine their soccer skills but also cultivate important life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and resilience.

OVERVIEW

Our Competitive Soccer program is tailored for our travel teams engaging in an exciting 8-game season during the fall and spring months. These matchups, comprising 4 home and 4 away games, unfold within the framework of Super Liga—a league governed by the regulations of USA Youth Soccer. Players will test their skills against counterparts from neighboring towns. Our program is dedicated to fostering growth and enhancing abilities.

Age groups

US Youth Soccer requires the use of calendar birth year to determine age groups.

Birth years 2017 & 2016: Under 8

Birth years 2015 & 2014: Under 10

Birth years 2013 & 2012: Under 12

Birth years 2011 & 2010: Under 14

In order for a player to be considered for a roster position, they must have a verified date of birth in the database.

A birth date is verified by providing a copy of a birth certificate, you can upload a copy during the registration process

Spring Season Timeline

The Spring Pre-Season will start on 3/4/24

The actual game season will start on 4/6/24 through 6/8/24.

As soon as the game schedule is finalized, the coached will send them out to their teams.

Where

Practices and home games are held at Eldred Field.

Away games will be in different towns throughout the State.

Practices

Competitive Travel teams usually train 2 times a week for 60-90 minutes.

Coaches will let the team know the time and day of the practices at the start of the season.

Games

Teams typically play 8 games during the regular season. 4 home and 4 away.

Depending on the age group, there might be playoffs and a final after the season.

Costs

The fee for the Spring 2024 season is $210.

The fee goes towards paying the referees, field maintenance, and training equipment.

This price does not include the uniform.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a refund if my child decides to stop playing halfway through the season?

We understand that plans can change. However, after team formations are complete, refunds won't be available. If a player is not assigned to a team, JSA will refund the full registration fee.
